KORR is a members-only reformer Pilates studio in Sheffield city centre, respectfully guided by Japanese concepts and designed to honour the space between.
Set within an iconic, grade-listed building in the heart of Sheffield, KORR offers a refined and intimate approach to reformer Pilates. Rooted in the principle that all movement begins at the core, our name reflects the foundation of the practice, Where breath, control, and precision initiate every movement.
More than a Pilates studio, KORR is a considered space for those seeking a more elevated, intentional way to move. Our small-group reformer Pilates classes are designed to feel personal, calm, and quietly powerful, balancing expert instruction with space to focus, reset, and reconnect.
We are dedicated to creating an experience that transcends exercise. In our intimate atmosphere, we encourage authentic belonging and genuine connections amongst women, whilst remaining welcoming to all. Beginner classes
MA' - BEGINNER:
Ma celebrates the space between, the elegance of simplicity and breath. Ma teaches us that negative space defines form; in movement, it's the pause that gives meaning to action. In our most beginner friendly class we first teach you the fundamentals and basis of the exercise, this is the most modified way to do the movement. From there we can advance exercises in many ways, such as extending the levers through the body, changing resistance, adding props etc to make sure you are getting the most from your practice. Think of it as learning the first layer, and don’t worry you will still certainly feel the burn!
All levels classes
SHIBUI - ALL LEVELS:
Shibui is our signature KORR class, embodying understated, effortless elegance with quiet strength. Designed to meet you where you are while still taking you further. This class blends controlled strength work, lengthening lines, mobility and deep core connection in a seamless flow. Each sequence offers clear foundational options and intelligent progressions, allowing beginners to build confidence while experienced members continue to refine and challenge their practice.
Expect Full-body strengthening, Slow-to-moderate pacing with purposeful flow, Focus on alignment, posture, breath + control and optional progressions (added levers, props, tempo + coordination) Shibui is the class you return to when you want to feel strong, elegant, and reset without overwhelm.
Please note this class isn't suitable for pregnant women past 16 weeks.
Intermediate classes
Seijaku refers to stillness and tranquillity, the calm within movement. Our Seijaku method is designed for members who are ready to evolve. This intermediate Reformer Pilates class builds upon our signature Shibui foundations with advanced progressions, longer lever work, and intentional use of props to elevate the challenge. Expect more complex sequencing and deeper ranges creating a higher demand on strength, stability and control, while maintaining elegance and precision.
You’ll explore:
Prop-driven intensifiers, Added lever length to increase load, endurance and core demand, Progressive layering + advanced transitions, Higher challenge to balance, coordination and full-body integration and A refined focus on alignment, breath and intention throughout.
This class is recommended for members who have done at least 10 of our Ma & Shibui classes and want to level up their practice in a more precise and powerful way.
This class isn’t suitable for pregnant women past 16 weeks.
SEIJAKU - INTERMEDIATE:
Two classes. One beginning.
Before you become a member, you become a guest. The Intro Series is your invitation to step inside KORR — to experience the reformer, the space, the community — without commitment, but with full intention.

◦ OUR FOUNDER
When I moved back to Sheffield at 27 years old after living in Greece and spending the better part of 3 years travelling the world, I came back to my hometown heartbroken, displaced and unsure of who I was without the life I thought I was building.
Somewhere between rebuilding my confidence and taking care of my body & wellbeing I started paying attention to my desperate craving to create something and find purpose. I didn't think it was my place to create the type of place I believed was missing, to open a Pilates studio or start a brand, considering I've always seen my hometown as a place to escape and the world beyond it the only place where I could be the best version of myself. It was as simple as the words "if not me then who, if not now then when, if not here then where" in my internal dialogue that kick started the process.
With the deep sense that I wasn't where I wanted to be and yet didn't know where I was going, KORR became, not as a business, but as a philosophy. The philosophy of "honouring the space between"
The studio was always designed to be a place for shared conversations, quiet encouragement, and a sense of belonging. In a time where I felt unanchored in many ways, this community became a steady presence that proves friendship, movement, and consistency can rebuild a sense of satisfaction, home & self
I created KORR with a devotion to grace, to beauty, to wellness that feels lived in, and to a future built slowly, honestly, and intentionally, with community at its heart.
My greatest hope is that you'll find here what I once searched for: a place where you feel truly seen, supported, and inspired to discover your own transformative journey.

Your Korr Pilates experience begins with a warm welcome from our certified instructors, who will guide you through your session. Each class combines flowing movements with precise breathing techniques, focusing on core strength, flexibility, and total body conditioning. Classes are challenging yet adaptable to all fitness levels, with instructors providing modifications as needed. You'll leave feeling energised, aligned, and more connected to your body. After your class theres no need to rush off, we would love for you to hang out, talk to each other and enjoy a complimentary beverage on us!

For optimal results, we recommend attending 2-3 sessions per week. This frequency is ideal for a noticeable transformation in your body and movement patterns. With consistent practice, visible changes like improved posture, muscle tone, and core strength typically show within 4-8 weeks, depending on your lifestyle factors. Long-term transformation in flexibility, strength, and better movement patterns is often seen around 12+ weeks with regular practice. Remember that consistency is more important than intensity—regular attendance, even once weekly, will still yield benefits.

Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic clothes that allow freedom of movement while enabling instructors to observe your alignment. We recommend leggings or fitted workout pants, a supportive top or t-shirt that won't ride up during inverted positions, and clean grip socks (available for purchase at our studio if needed). Avoid loose clothing, belts, or zips that might catch on equipment, and remove jewellery that could interfere with movements. No special shoes are required, as reformer work is done in grip socks.

Absolutely not! Our classes welcome all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. Our skilled instructors provide clear, detailed guidance and offer modifications for every exercise to ensure everyone feels comfortable and challenged appropriately. If you're new to Pilates, we recommend starting with our beginner classes, where you'll learn proper technique and terminology at a manageable pace. Everyone starts somewhere, and our supportive environment is perfect for those just beginning their Pilates journey.

As community is such a big thing for us, we really want to encourage members to get to know each other, network and create relationships. We find this is easier done and feels more natural with familiar faces. If you want to try the classes without committing, we offer 2 classes on an introductory offer for £40. Otherwise, we have class pack options of 3, 5 & 10 which do not require a contracted membership. If you are a member or have credits on your account and want to bring a friend to your class, you can do so, and the member will be charged 2 credits, as one credit will transfer over to the friend.
